Academic Details

The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, to which it is affiliated. The medium of instruction is English. The school is open to all students irrespective of caste, creed or sex. The academic year consists of two semesters:

EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION

A. SCHOLASTIC EVALUATION

In accordance with the direction of the CBSE, the school will follow the following system for the examination and promotion. There will be Two Terms:Term I (June – October) & Term II (November – March) Each student should get 33% for every subject to be promoted to the next class. 75% of attendance is compulsory for the promotion.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION & PROMOTION CLASS I TO VIII

• The academic year is divided into two terms. Four Periodic Tests and two terminal examinations will be
conducted during the academic year.
• The subjects that student will study are English, Hindi, Malayalam, Mathematics, Science / EVS,
Social Science, I.T.& G.K

WEIGHTAGE

Term I (100 Marks) = 20 marks Internal Assessment + 80 marks for Pen-paper Test.
Term II (100 Marks) = 20 marks Internal Assessment + 80 marks for Pen-paper Test
